jazzahead! late-night programme is organised in co-operation with the Kulturzentrum
Schlachthof, where it also takes place. It starts after the jazzahead! evening concerts: 23 rd & 24th
April 2010, 09.30 pm - 0l.00 am.
All bands are selected by a panel of experts. The panel consists of one representative of the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof,
one broadcasting journalist, an international festival director and one representative of jazzahead!
The late-night programme is part of the official jazzahead! programme and addresses itself to national and international
professionals but also invites the public to assist the concerts. lt will be announced within the context of the national and
international advertising and press campaign. In 2010 - thus parallel to the third German Jazz Meeting - the late-night programme
should mainly present European jazz productions.
Please read the conditions of participation carefully!:
- Requirement: applicants must already be registered exhibitors of jazzahead! 2010.
- Each exhibiting company. institution or association can suggest 1 band only. This means also the co-exhibitors of
umbrella stands can make one suggestion. The band should be a European formation (this means. the majority of the band members
should have a residence in Europe).
- The application form and information material (band information, press releases and the latest cd) must be sent in triplicate
until 02 November 2009 to Messe Bremen, WFB Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH, Findorffstraße 101, 28215 Bremen, Germany,
with envelope/fax marked "late-night programme".
- The selection procedure will be finished until 13th November 2009, afterwards the nominated bands will be informed and
announced in the jazzahead! advertisement campaigne.
- Selected bands get a time s10t Of 30 minutes play time + 15 minutes set-up. The bands commit to abiding the play times.
(+ sound check before, during the day).
- The applicants (exhibiting labels, agencies, artists' associations or export offices) are responsible for organising
and financing the arrival and departure of their bands, their accommodation, and bear any additional costs (e.g. fee) and
pay a charge of 150,-€ plus VAT to Messe Bremen.
- In co-operation with Kulturzentrum Schlachthof Messe Bremen provides technical equipment, premises, catering on location
and advertising within the national and international media and press campaign of jazzahead!
(programme, brochure, internet, podcast and press).
- All participating bands commit to use only the available backline and PA.
- The organizer is authorized to record the concerts and receives the broadcast rights, as long as it has no monetary benefit.
- All participating musicians will receive badges that entitle them to free entrance to jazzaheadi over the
four days (incl. exhibition, concerts, conferences, etc.).
- All national and international professionals including representatives of the press as well as the holders of a jazzahead!
day ticket and the jazzahead! pass have free entrance to the late-night programme.

Hereby I apply bindingly, with the previously named band, fora performance in the late-night
programme of jazzahead! 2010. I accept the designated conditions of participation that are the
basis for the subsequent contract and I declare that I am willed to be listed in advertisements and indexes.
