Whether John Scofield, Julia Hülsmann Trio feat. Roger Cicero, Maceo Parker, Wallace Roney, Maria João, Lisa Bassenge, NDR Bigband, motif, Thärichens Tentett, Marilyn Mazur, Marc Ducret Trio, Bugge Wesseltoft, Rigmor Gustafsson or Joe Zawinul – numerous national and international stars have already presented their talent on the jazzahead! stages in the past! And in 2009 you can again expect to hear a lot of aspiring and big stars of jazz!

College concerts > This is where the jazz departments of different colleges present themselves and give insights into main study areas and course contents. It is thus a particularly interesting section for schools and future students!

European Jazz Meeting > The second edition of the European Jazz Meeting promises to offer an exciting selection of music and musicians from the European jazz scene. Our partners: Catalonia, France, Luxemburg and the United Kingdom.

late-night programme > This is a must for every confirmed jazz fan! The late-night programme featuring national musicians is being held in cooperation with the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof where the concerts will take place as well.
